topic: Archive and Transfer Files - covered in RH124 & RH134 - same content

Dear All,

I am just preparing for my rhcsa exam and have found that a topic is covered in rh124 and 134 with the same content. I compared the study guide RH134 ver.9.0 with ver.8.2 and found the ACL is covered in RH134 in chapter 4 (8.2)?

I believe it is an important topic, but really should it be covered twice and ACL nowhere in ver.9.0? Or is ACL deprecated in RHEL9 exam?

content:

Chapter 13. Archive and Transfer Files

https://rol.redhat.com/rol/app/courses/rh134-9.0/pages/ch04
Chapter 4. Archive and Transfer Files

Thank you.

The chapter on that was fairly recently moved from RH124 into RH134.

So was the one on rsyslog and time (chronyd).

File ACLs have been removed.

See this link for what's current:

Hi,

2 topics are covered in both study guide (RH124 & RH134 ver9.0), not moved, still there:

Chapter 11: Analyze and Store Logs:
https://rol.redhat.com/rol/app/courses/rh124-9.0/pages/ch11

Chapter 13: Archive and Transfer Files
https://rol.redhat.com/rol/app/courses/rh124-9.0/pages/ch13

&
Chapter 3: Analyze and Store Logs
https://rol.redhat.com/rol/app/courses/rh134-9.0/pages/ch03

Chapter 4: Archive and Transfer Files
https://rol.redhat.com/rol/app/courses/rh134-9.0/pages/ch04

In the RH134 ver8.2 CH4 is about ACL, that's why I mentioned it (yes, ACL is not written in objectives, neither stratis... , VDO etc )

Basically, I am just interested in what topic could be missing from RH134 ver9.  Anyway, I have just enrolled in RH134 ver 8.2

Thank you
