Lab compreview-review3 setup

Jump to solution

Hi, setup scripts for review lab 3 seem to be failing

I was supposed to be able to get a ticket with knit admin, instead, I get this

[root@servera ~]# kinit admin
kinit: Configuration file does not specify default realm when parsing name admin

and if I reenroll the server into IPA, the grading script fails on checking the home directory

[student@workstation ~]$ lab grade compreview-review3

Grading lab.

SUCCESS Checking lab systems
FAIL Checking directories
        - Command did not exit with the expected code at 'servera'
        - Expected: 0, Received: 2
        - stderr: ["ls: cannot access '/home/operator1': No such file or directory\n"]
SUCCESS Checking configuration

Overall lab grade: FAIL

@cq032 what is the error that you are getting with lab start script ?

I am getting this while running the lab start script and it seems working with a minor tweak for me :

@cq032 if you are getting the same error as I got ( failure with restarting services ) then you can log into servera as root user and restart sssd service using systemctl and then see if you can continue with the lab exercise.
