It seems like the terminals within the JupyterLab notebooks don't support having a web browser that can access the IdM console. The very first lab has us verifying that the IdM console is available by starting `firefox` on the command line, but you get this:

restorecon: SELinux: Could not get canonical path for /home/student/.mozilla/firefox/* restorecon: No such file or directory.
Error: no DISPLAY environment variable specified
[student@workstation ~]$
```
which makes a lot of sense since it is a web terminal.
So how are we supposed to get to the console in this environment?
