I have just completed the Red Hat System Administration I 9.0 course which was offered as a for credit course through the College of Southern Nevada(CSN). After completing that, I took a chance at winning a CompTIA Linux+ voucher through our end of smester "Cert Fair" and did pretty poorly on the CompTIA Linux+ exam objectives outside of "1.0 System Management" but I was intrigued to discover CompTIA expects Linux system administrators to know some Ansible, Podman, Docker. I've also started to fool around a bit with ostree and OS Build.

I will be leaving CSN for Utah State University ad I will be surprised if there are opportunities to continue with Red Hat Academy as a for credit course option that becomes affordable through Pell Grants, federal student loans, etc.

If you have roles for paid student ambassadors for Red Hat tech on college campuses that also have access to training materials and courses like the next in the series towards RHCSA and the Ansible, Open Shift and AI technologies, do let me know, I would be interested!
