Red Hat Academy Students finding their future job opportunities on Talent Network!

Red Hat Academy Talent Network platform has numerous wins to celebrate,
and here’s the incredible story of one of them.

Meet Clarissa, a student from Institut Sains dan Teknologi Terpadu Surabaya in Indonesia achieved not just one but two Red Hat certifications – the Red Hat
Certified System Administrator and the Red Hat Certified Engineer certification.

But here's where the story gets even more exciting! A Red Hat talent partner
looking for early talent noticed Clarissa’s profile on Red Hat Academy Talent
Network and hired her. She started working as a PHP developer while finishing her final year at the university and is now meaningfully contributing to the organisation.

Unlocking new careers in Open Source with Red Hat Academy

In 2020, Information Technology Institute (ITI) in Egypt decided to integrate Red Hat Academy coursework into its undergraduate programs. Since then over 500 students have taken RHA courses, with half going on to achieve certification. Today, they are employed in a range of open source fields at multinational companies, including system administration, DevOps and IoT development. Here is the story of the partnership.

Vikram Motiani, Red Hat Sr. Director - GLS APAC and Rakhmad Azhari, the alumni student who currently works as Solution Architect at Red Hat delivered a guest lecture to more than 50 students at the oldest computer science university & research center in Indonesia - Fasilkom UI/Faculty of Computer Science.
