I have a question, how can I maxmize the usage of the course RH104? Also, since the some of the concepts are quite difficult to comprehend. I find myself looking up everynow and then for the new terminologies. Can I get a human mentor or something like that?
Just sharing my self-paced learning experience as a fresher.
chatgpt.com is the answer to your "..human mentor or something like that.." question.
Please note that I used chatgpt.com web-version, not android app-version.
Below are example of questions that I'm satisfied with chatgpt.com answers:
@ASH_99 If you are new to Linux you might need help on terminologies, CLI, concepts, architecture etc and it is absolutely OK to use google to refer some of those. That will sometimes be time taking or you wont get the exact hands on practice to verify your learning. At this point you can either have a free tier RHEL developer subscription to get a RHEL VM and practice the concepts / CLI on your own or you can enrol into our Virtual training / Instructor led virtual training sessions which will be based on basic RHEL courses like RH124 & RH134 which will not only help you learn basic to advance RHEL system management but will also help you clear the RHCSA certification exam. These courses / training are custom RHEL training based on certain important basic chapters and labs which will help you gradually absorb the RHEL concepts while verifying your learning through the Hands on lab which is very similar to real world RHEL admin tasks. This training will also help you ace those linux interviews if you are preparing for one as the general questions for RHCSA level are already covered.
Are you associated with any RH academy partner institution ? If yes, I guess you will be having an instructor who can help you on the same ?
I strongly do not recommend to refer any AI based chat tool as of now because many a times they give wrong / unverified answers which might confuse you or do no resolve your doubt.
For enrolling into RH training you can contact our regional team here : https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training-and-certification/contact-us
@ASH_99 one more thing I forgot to include in my response. You can always reach out to this community for any doubts / clarification / help regarding the RH104 or RH124 or RH134 course or any RHEL related stuffs that you need help with.
Occasionally, the best effort is achieved by a combination of reviewing the training video's, reviewing the Student Handbook, and doing the LABs for any given course, and more than once, so as to build up your muscle memory for the various concepts.
Additionally, going through 2-3 lessons further, i.e. past a given 'difficult' topic, might shed light or clarification on the difficult topic itself by virtue of using new materials repetitively.
