Jump to solution

Dear all,

As i read almost all the official books of RHCSA on RHEL8, I have confusion that in exam

Q 1:- Does Red Hat ask the question beyond the the and objectives of exam (cause in the section "Create and configure file systems" of objectives red hat ask for the mounting of NFS shares but not the server side confiuration?

Q 2:- Does redhat requires RHCSA's candidate to configure LDAP,NFS,Apache,VSFTP server (Specifically LDAP and NFS) ?

Looking forward to get replaied

The exam objectives are very accurate, and should never mislead you.

Because we do not teach you about setting up an NFS server in neither the RH124, nor the RH134 courses, we cannot realistically expect you to configure an NFS server in the exam. Should a question concerning NFS come up, it would be about mounting an NFS export.

The same principles would be applicable to setting up LDAP, Kerberos, Apache, vsftpd, etc.

In otherwords, should you get questions concerning these topics, it would be utilizing those services as a client
