Hi,
Thank You very much! So using the desktop You were using only single camera? I was confused because using laptop two cameras were needed;). Please confirm that You were using one camera.
"Your face, hands and keyboard have to be visible." it is quite hard to manage it with one camera I think hmm...
Hello @PatrykBe777 ,
I used one camera(Logitech: HD1080p. it has a clear resolution), connected to my desktop.
But, make sure the camera's wire is long enough for your hands, face and keyboard to be seen by the proctor.
I hope that helps!
I have downloaded the iso to my usb drive to test it. I am able to boot my laptop with it but cannot connect to wifi. Is this to be expected? If this is not to be expected how can I troubleshoot this?
When you say that you cannot connect to wifi, are you saying you can't see the WIFI network, or can you see the WIFI networks but you are unable to connect to those networks? If the latter, what message was it returning?
it is the latter. I can see me wifi and attempt to connect, I enter my password, the connection either "appears" connected, OR, rejects my password.
Once i get the password accepted I close the setting window and a new window pops up stating that:
"Networking does not appear to be configured. Click OK to configure it now".
I tried with the older iso now and got the same result. I am going to abandon my wifi and try cabling direct to my router after I reset it. Thank you very kindly for the help and insights. I will update again once I've made my changes as to the result.
Two questions:
1) What if I have to go to the bathroom? Is this allowed?
2) I have Red Hat and other vendor stickers on my laptop. Is that allowed?
to be clear, these questions are in regards to taking the exam remotely (from home) with my Red Hat issued Mac laptop...
