Red Hat sent me a Windows 11 laptop to take my remote exam since I could not use my Macbook pro. I have been working on burning and booting with the Live USB. I had trouble using Fedora Media Writer to burn the image , so I used Rufus. However, for some reason I cannot boot from this Live USB image using Windows 11 laptop. The image I downloaded is rhrexboot-2023-06.iso, I assume this is the latest .iso. Any ideas on how to boot from this Live USB on Windows 11 laptop? This is becoming a show stopper for me.
Can any RedHat support team member/ exam taker help me identify any differences in the Specialist 280 exam and the plain Openshift 280 exam? I am also just coming to the understanding 4.12 exams in both 288 and 280 are most people are having trouble with, relative to their 4.10 counterpart.
To condense my concerns:
1. What are the differences between the Specialist Exam and the non-specialist exams?
2. To exam takers/redhat support, what are the differences between V4.12 and V4.10 in either EX280 or EX288? ( in terms of level of difficulty, difference in intent of the examination in terms of proficiency)
It's the same system I used to take my last exams, 3-4 yrs ago. But obviously the exam system has changed since then.
Hi @deadin , that's quite wierd
If you're using a laptop with external webcam, just check which mic was selected in the settings. You should be getting options for both the built in mic and mic on external webcam under sounds > input devices
Run the test with each microphones separately (reboot required to switch the mic on settings) and see if the test passes
If you're using desktop with external webcam and there is no built in mic on the PC, try connecting headphones/earphones with mic and see if the test pass. Please be informed that you cannot wear the headset/earphones during the exam and must be kept on the desk in view of the proctor
You can also test the headphone/earphoe as 3rd input device while using laptop as well and test
Since Microphone is mandatory for the exam, you need to have it working without any issues to take the exam
