DO374 Classroom Tweaks

I'm working through the DO374 course and I've noticed that Ricardo mentions some classroom tweaks that he has run on his environment. He says that he explains in the Orientation lesson. I have watched that lesson twice and cannot find a mention of these tweaks. Am I missing something?
