I had purchased the DO317 few months ago.
And I got the 90 days lab access and the 12 months period to schedule the EX316 exam.
As it was a do not miss opportunity with 70 % off discount, I jumped on it.

Now my problem is that I was not really able to spare time in order to study the course and practise with the lab. My lab access will expire in few days.
I am aming to schedule the exam around May 2025.

Is it possible to get, I understand some fees might me required, an extension for the lab access ?

Here’s a tip for those who plan to take the EX316 exam.

Recently, EX316 v4.16 was rolled out, and it is the latest exam version.

The v4.16 exam includes a new topic: "Backup Operator".

Here’s a snapshot from the v4.16 Objectives page:

For more details, refer to the official documentation page for this feature:

Previously, v4.14 was the latest version, but it is now outdated compared to v4.16.

If you want to check what will be tested in the actual exam, I recommend you access the following URLs:

• EX316 Objectives - v4.14 (in archive.org)
• EX316 Objectives - v4.16 (in Red Hat official site)

Especially if you need to retake the exam and are switching to a different version, please be careful.

Why Red Hat does not avail on the web site the archived objectives when it is possible to schedule different versions for an exam ?

I have the version 4.14 book for the DO316, and of course I will schedule to write the EX316 on version 4.14. But now, there is no official way for me to access the EX316 version 4.14 objectives. Fortunately, I had copied them.

One good news.

With the same unique subscription to DO317, I have been able to get the book DO316 on version 4.16 while I already got the book DO316 version 4.14.

So I might just study for the version 4.16 EX316 exam.
