Support Team,
At Section 6.3 : Guided Exercise: Deploying a Database Server on OpenShift.
Log in to OpenShift as the kubeadmin user and create a new project for this exercise.
From the workstation VM, log in to OpenShift as the kubeadmin user with the password located in /home/student/.kubeadmin.
I performed...
[student@workstation ~]$ oc login -u kubeadmin -p <password> \
> https://cluster-api.lab.example.com:6443
Results:
error: dial tcp 172.25.250.11:6443: connect: connection refused - verify you have provided the correct host and port and that the server is currently running.
I successfully pinged the server @ cluster-api.lab.example.com
Why is the connection being refused and what is the correct host and port?
Hi Tommy,
If you are enrolled in any course from Red Hat Training and need support, the fatest way to reach the support team is openning a support case at access.redhat.com.
These forums are not the proper way to reach the support team. They are for students and customers to help each other, interact before and after their classes, and have a way to keep interacting with instructors and other experts in an informal way. Though you may find support staff and ocasionally course authors here, there is no assurance they will provide you a quick response.
Flozano,
When I create a support case at access.redhat.com, I have to select a product, but my problem could be with the DO180R training lab environment, not a specific Red Hat product.
Other related fixes have been new blueprints for a new lab environment.
How do you suggest I create a support case for the DO180R lab environment/instructions?
I there,
Yes, that's the same tool for support cases and it's "clearly not clear" for users of the training... Same for the priorities and business impact, and other classifications.
Anyway,
When you click the "?" it should says something along "new case: product: Red Hat Online Learning". Selecting that should reach the dedicated support team for the trainings.
I haven't done that for some time, I hope it is still accurate. If not, don't hesitate to feedback !
Hi,
I'm also facing this issue. Sometimes it gets logged in and sometimes failed.
Hey Ahmad,
We released a fixed classroom on Tuesday. You need to delete your current classroom and then click Provision Lab again. Please note that it can take up to 15 minutes or so before you are able to log into your openshift cluster. You do not need to run the "hotfix" instructions. It should work out of the box.
