DO425 lab provisioning takes forever

It takes forever to have the DO425 lab provisioned, after the VM's are up i am waiting for 1,5 hours and still openshift is not running.

I am losing precious lab time.

Please fix this.

Sorry you are having issues with this. Can you provide a bit more info about what is happening? e.g.,

Can you log in to workstation?

Can you run a start script for any GE or Lab?

Can you use `oc login` on the command line to successfully log in?

I'm not a dev but just to check I ran up this course from home and had everything running and started running the GEs in Chapter 1 in less than 15 minutes.

Thanks for your patience.

David

Labs can take 20 minutes to spin up but certainly not that long! is this every time? are you able to spin other labs up (for different courses)?

Throwing it out there - I've noticed a lot of lab issues this month and they seem worst on the weekends: performance issues such as the OP posted about including very, very slow logins (4 minutes to login to the desktop) and painfully sluggish systems, and a frequent inability to even launch lab consoles as attempts just result in "page not found" errors.

Support unfortunately have not been able to provide an RCA or much assistance, and eventually labs do start working properly.

It's just taken 2 hours to provision my lab - the entire time the counter is running slowly consuming my 400 hours. Pretty ridiculous.
