Hi,
how do I create/connect to the virtual machines in the exam? All this time I was practicing with VirtualBox on Windows since this is what was used in the course I was learning with.
There were no mentions about settign up VMs in the exam objectives (on the RedHat site)
Do I get different options of virtualization software to use during the exam? Or do I just get credentials to already set up VMs.
Regards,

Testers are given the credentials to prebuilt VMs.

Hi Team,
Please let me know if I am allowed to use desktop instead laptop. If so, I would need to have 2 external cameras, one for the display and one for the desk? Please let me know. I read the specific Red Hat document towards remote exams and there is keyword like "computer" or "laptop". Want to be 100% sure that combination above will fit the requirements.
Best regards,
Patryk
Hi,
Thank You very much! So using the desktop You were using only single camera? I was confused because using laptop two cameras were needed;). Please confirm that You were using one camera.
"Your face, hands and keyboard have to be visible." it is quite hard to manage it with one camera I think hmm...
Hello @PatrykBe777 ,
I used one camera(Logitech: HD1080p. it has a clear resolution), connected to my desktop.
But, make sure the camera's wire is long enough for your hands, face and keyboard to be seen by the proctor.
I hope that helps!
Thank You so much. Sure I will wait, I think if so 2 external camers would be needed hmmm...
Here one additonal question comes to my mind, is it allowed to use monitor that works with 21:9 ???
Have a great day!
@Gineesh is right.
You may use any compatible workstation along with one wired external camera.
Please see additional information here
Ultrawide monitors are acceptable but at higher resolutions, you may see only a part of the VM (or a very small view of the VM). I recommend setting the resolution to Full HD while taking the exam.
Regards,
Also, there is the factor, that this is a remote display, the higher the resolution, the better bandwidth you should have, correct?
