I am still struggling exactly same issue ( tried AMD Ryzen 7, tried with Intel 11th Gen ) as you mentioned its not working on modern hardware. Probably driver issue, but its annoying. Conclusion: Was approaching Redhat since last Mar 2022, no luck sometimes I feel like after Centos project premature death no contributors to RHEL.

I’m on vacation with my kids and I’m sitting here with my laptop thinking why not validate my skills now that I have some spare time. I read through the material and I estimate I will need around 10hours worth of good study to refresh some Linux concepts in order to pass the rhcsa exam.
Then I look at the remote exam prep and I’m thinking is not worth it. Sorry this is my personal opinion. I appreciate the performance based type of exams that red hat offers and I feel they really validate admin skills much more than multiple choice type of exams but still browser based is a must !!!

You buy an individual exam which you can take it either in a testing center
with partner or remotely in your home or your office.
The other option (other than individual exam) is classroom exam with a
locally setup environment in partner which are typically available only for
RHCSA and RHCE. Most probably, all other Red Hat exams are available only
as individual exams which you access a remote exam environment either from
a testing center laptop or from your laptop remotely. Hope this helps.

Hi, I wrongly input the individual RHCSA exam instead of remote exam. How could I rectify this. I would like to do the RHCSA exam from home remotely.
