Dear Red Hat,
We did not receive any information regarding Exam Kiosk availability while the COVID-19 and restriction around that are in place.
In my country, the Red Hat Partners where kiosk exam resides are closing the offices due to government restrictions.
Could you please confirm that you are developing some solution which will be extending the exams expiration period for the exam until the situation will be back to normal?
Or is there any plans to attend exams from home?
I know this is a difficult time for many of us.
Please care for each other and our communities when it counts.
Stay safe and healthy.
@LaszloFaczan
Probably you need to reach RedHat support to include new exams from your ROL to have extended period as well or it will be implemented automatically after some time.
i have time, i wait :)
After the redhat is being taken over by IBM, there is an increase confusion in the training and exam departments. Emails/Cases are not replied for over a month and I recently lost my RHCEcertification just by 2 days (cleared openshift). I was trying to contact Redhat to reschedule my exam since a month but no one replied.
I was provided with free RHCE voucher which is valid for 6 months and this virus outbreak is again raising concerns over it.
I used the same channel and still no one replied for over a month. I requested to provide an earlier date (no exams were available for a month). While the Redhat website mentions that students can take exam at their convience and Redhat is so strict with cancelling certification validity even after 1 day, there is no provision to schedule a exam timely. Webiste has no schedules and if you dig up my cases, you would know how hard it has become to get a exam voucher code.
Support agents paste templates over emails without pasting the voucher codes or any information how to re-imburse them. Even with multiple request, I got the same blank template emails.
I have been going through Redhat courses for more than 14 years, but the recent changes are not good for students. It is really trying our patience.
Hi @tarangoyal - First of all, thank you for being a loyal student to our Red Hat training courses and exams for 14 years!
We understand and apologize for the inconvenience associated with re-scheduling your exam. Did you originally reach out to the Red Hat Training and Certification learning team here? I will communicate with the support team to make sure you are taken care of, and can properly reschedule your exam. Stay tuned and please expect a private message from me in this community on how to move forward - the notification will come directly to the email inbox associated with your Red Hat account.
Thank you,
Deanna

Nothing really helpfull for those with active RHLS that will loose 6month of their time waiting for exam centers to reopen.
Let's hope that you do not lose six months. We have provided an extension of 90 days for anyone whose exam eligibility expires between March 24 and September 30. That includes RHLS Standard subscribers and is independent of the expiration of the subscription itself (although we hope folks renew, of course.) We will periodically refresh the extensions in order to cover additional exams that RHLS subscribers enroll in.
Hi all,
Please see the latest Red Hat Training and Certification COVID-19 Response, there is a lot of good information there. Please also use the COVID19 peer support group to start more discussions and ask questions.
