Hello!
I did exercise ch07s07 on my own without the solutions, but lab grade command returned some FAIL.
After trying to troubleshoot without success, I cleaned my lab environment and used the provided solutions. Problem: even with the official solutions, the grading script still fails.
Here is a screenshot of the state of my folders at the end of the exercises
Hi
You answer confirms that you use latest ( 4 ) version of labs. Using "_" ( underscore in my_bestseller and some other places ) meens that you use not latest version of SG. Latest version SG use "-" ( minus sign in my-bestseller and some other ). Please, use latest version SG
Good luck
Oh, I found the issue. I am using the latest version of the course, but in French. Looking at the English version, it actually works.
French:
English:
Thanks for the feedback, it put me on the right track. I'll report the issue through the course comments.
It happened to me to fail as well, I learned that I need to make sure to create files with exact content, correct line order and correct line endings. Also no trailing spaces.
Good luck in fixing this, its a lesson itself figuring out what went wrong.
Thank you for your answer!
The fact is that no matter how many times I repeat the exercise, whether by hand or by copying and pasting the solutions, I always get the same result.
In the case of this exercise, the files have no content. The task is to work on the files (creating, copying, moving).
I've already done exercises where the problem was indeed my fault, which allowed me to learn. In this case, it's rather annoying because the final result is the same as the one expected in the instructions.
Hi @Quentin_R
Please be sure that you use Student Guide same edition as lab installed version. It looks that your lab is edition 4, but you use one of previous Student Guide edition. I meet same problem with SG edition 1, when investigated your example.
Good luck
Hello!
I did think about it, but it seems that I used the latest versions available.
The lab version :
student@workstation:~$ lab version
Lab framework version: 4.39.2
Course library: rht-labs-rh0016l
Course library version: 10.0.4
The course version :
v10.0 (rh124-10.0)
Aren't they the correct versions?

You welcome
You definitely need to make sure you are using the latest version of the lab environment and course manual. Looking at "Step 7", you should have a vacation directory that contains 2 chapters. I don't see a vacation directory at all in your screenshots.
Also, the "tree" command would be nice as it gives a somewhat visual view of your directories and files.
As I answered to @ARoumiantsev, it seems the versions I use are the latest:

Course library: rht-labs-rh0016l
Course library version: 10.0.4

That's because it's asked to delete it with Step 11 :
The tree command:
