Greetings,
There is a wrong description for the task in the review lab in paragraph 4 - quoting:
The lab start script downloads the rhcsa-script-1.0.0-1.noarch.rpm package in the /home/student directory on the serverb machine.
Confirm that the rhcsa-script-1.0.0-1.noarch.rpm package is available on the serverb machine, and install it by using root privileges. Verify that the package is installed.
------quote finished
Actually lab start script puts the rpm package to the /root directory and not to the home/student. Either script has a bug or the task decription is wrong.
Please notice it and advice.
Best Regards, D.
@MSC_D I will also check from my side and let you know the details soon.
Hmm, let me try it one more time
Restarting my lab environment, not re-creating but restarting from stop.
so no rpm package in students home.
Here it is in root home:
And here what I see in the labs log :
So its clearly was copied for some reason to the root directory...
Just some additional screenshot:
It did not really influenced the overall flow of the review, as it does not really matter from where you install your rpm as a root, but maybe there was some insentive lost in transition :).
Best Regards, D.
Thank you very much.
Best Regards, D.
@MSC_D You're welcome!
Ah. V10. That explains it. I assumed v9.3.
Well-done, all!
