certification validity extension

Does certification validity get extended by passing another one ? 

for example, does do407 get extended by passing ex280? 

do we have a graph of such dependencies or some rule to follow?

Yesterday I passed EX280 and noticed that the validity of my EX200 exam was extended, but the validity of my £X180 exam was not extended. Why is there a difference?

Any Red Hat exam (other than EX200 & EX294) extends EX200 & EX294 and does
not extend other exams.
