New Remote Exam ISO released

I just noticed the new ISO 2025-07 has been released. I expect it to bring better hardware support.  You may follow the download link in the PDF ebook or directly here.

I have my exam scheduled tomorrow. I previously did compatibility test with 2023-06 dated ISO. Yesterday, I saw new ISO 2025-07 dated. I downloaded and replaced old ISO. Last night I was able to successfully completed the compatibility test with 2025-07 ISO. Today I tried with the same thumbdrive and same laptop but it does not work. I gave a try with old ISO too, that gives different error. Please check the screenshots. Adivise me on whether to proceed exam tomorrow or should I just postpone it?

I believe the first screenshot is after the latest ISO is loaded in to memory 100 %. the error appears and the system shuts off. If you were able to boot successfully with the latest ISO 2025 version, then try to reboot once . 

The second screenshot "Onboarding Process could not be initialized" , this should be after you tried booting from the  older version iso "202306" and configured your network in the setting screen. To resolve this issue, you can try to switch connection type "wifi /ethernet connection" check if the network is connected in the setting screen .Else try restarting your router.

2025-07 ISO

1.  Worked only one time last day
2. I tried reboot, downloading the newer ISO and recreated USB, no luck

2023-06 ISO

1. Apart from the one time error, it works fine.
2. Probably temporary network glitch

Question: Can I still use 2023-06 ISO for my exam 20:30 IST tomorrow ?

Hello @sasikk ,

Yes, you can use the 2023-06 ISO. But make sure you have run the compatibility test a few hours before you access the exam. With your external webcam connected.

@sasikk I've dealt with one of the candidate who reported same problem (as in screenshot-1) with new ISO. And rebuilding the live USB had resolved the issue in that case. You mentioned you tried recreating the USB which made no difference. That's strange ! If possible, you can try rebuilding the live USB from the scratch again and check. 

Anyway, as confirmed, you can still use the older version of ISO to take the exam.
