how to arrange iso image for KVM virtual machine in live usb
Hi Rashid,
I'm not sure, but it sounds like you are hoping to run the text image in a VM. If so this will probably not be useful to you. Getting it to boot successfully in a VM will only show that it boots there, not that it will boot on your hardware. You cannot take the exam using the test image in a VM, only on bare metal.
Doe this help?
Hi, as per the email for taking remote exams it has been mentioned only one physical monitor allowed. so we can't use as extended monitor with laptop if we need to use keyboard / mousepad of the laptop ?
Does that mean laptop connected to one physical monitor but laptop closed ? if that's the case need to use wired keyboard and mouse ?
Hey everyone, I'm testing the resolution of my Dell 27" monitor. During my first exam attempt everything looed pretty small on the screen. So I just booted from USB and I'm in the Displays menu. The native resolution of my monitor is 2560x1440. This is the default resolution. In the drop-down list I see several available resolutions including 2048x1080 (4:3), 1920x1080i (16:9) and 1600x1200 (4:3) and smaller. Of course I want my resolution to be 16:9, thus I tried to select 1920x1080i. And once I selected it, my display began to flicker, and everything was pretty blurry because of flickering. Please tell me, why does it happen and why I don't see a regular 1920x1080 resolution in the list, but only 1920x1080i? PS: when I did my first exam attempt, I noticed that left, right and bottom portions of the screen were not even used. So I wonder which resolutiong you would suggest to me to make sure my monitor is fully utilized during the exam? Thanks in advance.
I think I found the issue with resolution. The default refresh rate was set to 29.97 Hz. When I switch to 60 Hz, it automatically changes resolution from 1920x1080i to 1920x1080. I think it's a bit weird that the default refresh rate is set to such a small value... PS: The problem is I have to figure out the right resolution Before the exam because they said I'll have to reboot the system if I need to change it during the exam. I guess I'll have to do the hardware check and room verification one more time if I reboot during the exam, and I'd like to avoid wasting time on such things...
So now I'm trying to figure out if I need to keep 2560x1440 200% or set 1920x1080 60 Hz...
H, this is not the right place to post your request. Please use

Will you be able to open an additional terminal for the control node in the exam environment to run ansible-doc and man commands to copy and paste from?
I am sure no one from RH will comment the content of any exam here and you should not too. People have equal conditions, they will come across challenges and it is up to them how they decide to solve them during the exam
