Hi
I always like to take certification exams on the latest stable version of OpenShift.
Recently, I took EX280 on OpenShift v4.14, while DO180 is just available on v4.18. So, when can we expect the related courses & exams like DO\EX280 to be updated to newer versions?
Is there a roadmap or timeline by Red Hat that shows when OpenShift certification exams are planned to be updated?
Would appreciate any insights or shared experiences from the community!
@awafai mostly you will get the update from RH official exam webpages. If not, there will be course announcements here in the RHLC which will contain the exam details as well hopefully.
Last but not least - you can always comeback and ask in this community - we will help you with the best of our knowledge.
Good question. I think RH people are scanning this forum, so I will try to get their attention. Somebody could have an answer
We expect the course and the exam to be released simultaneously in October.
@awafai Good question. I think the courses and exams based on OCP are getting updated across our catalogue as we speak. Many courses and exams are already on the latest version. For this particular course/exam - DO280 / EX280 - the work is in progress and as Lene just updated - will be available in next month Oct 2025.
Great interaction! is it an internal news at Red Hat, or can I get these future expectation, e.g. through a Slack channel or website?
For all related OpenShift exams.
Many thanks
