Hi team,
During exam I wanna use my laptop keyboard and second screen like main display like on attached picture. Please let me know is it allowed this configuration?
Hello @aleks_first
No, this configuration is not allowed. You need to close the laptop's display lid and use an external keyboard and a mouse if another display is connected.

Hello @aleks_first,
The setup shown in the picture is not allowed for the exam.
1. You can either only use the laptop with an external camera connected to take the exam or
2. You can connect a external wired monitor, external keyboard, external mouse and a external webcam with the laptop lid closed
Thanks for response,
even if I will cover laptop monitor?
Unfortunately not. The software would detect two active monitors even though one would be covered. I consulted the matter with an experienced proctor in RH. You really need to close the lid and use an external keyboard and mouse.
@aleks_first no this is not allowed - either use your laptop or use external monitor with separate external keyboard and mouse. You need to use external webcam as well.
Hi @PetrCihlar
Thanks all for answers.
I have on my PC 2 USB type A and one type C - Can I use an adapter to connect a webcam?

Hi @aleks_first ,
Yes, You can use a hub to connect the wired keyboard and the webcam. Else you can disconnect the USB drive once it is loaded in to memory and then connect the external webcam to it.
As mentioned earlier, laptop lid has to be kept closed while using an external monitor.
You can even reach out to Remote Exam Readiness support through
https://www.redhat.com/en/services/certification/exam-preparation
and use the chat widget at the bottom right corner of the screen to start a live chat with support.
@aleks_first You certainly can use it
