Hi to everyone...
I am the Consultant and Services Manager for a IT Services company based in Venezuela attending some countries in Central America like Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Panama.
I have some RH Certifications in Virtualization and RHCSA. Looking for more.
My Workstation : HP Probook 450 G7 with Win11 and RHEL 8
I am from zero to one hero! Started with zero knowledge in Linux RHEL7, a former Project Management Officer no one supported to switch soft to a technical role, got certified in RHCSA within a year. As an easy-going, always curious colleague I had usually posted my questions to almost every geek I met. Collected knowledge and experience from the others was a bless, motivated me to not stop and take the challenge what Red Hat technologies create.
I am the Technical Portfolio Leader for Learning and Careers at Red Hat. I am passionate about creating the best learning opportunities and experiences in technology at Red Hat and beyond. I want to help our technical community grow their skills and advance their skills. I have been at Red Hat for over six years and I have spent most of my career in learning (20+ years). I began that journey at IBM in 2000 and have continued to explore my passions for learning ever since. I am excited to be a part of this community!
Hello everyone,
I am a UNIX/SAN administrator for a regional health system. I took to learning Linux about 1.5 years ago and I'm hooked. There's a whole interesting ecosystem of topics just bubbling beneath the surface and I'm excited to explore them.
I currently live in Michigan, USA (but have been eyeing up the Pacific Northwest). I spend a lot of my time reading, playing the guitar, and enjoy pedestrian-oriented urban spaces and forested walks. I come from a 12-year career in supply chain, where in the latter years I spent a lot of my lunches hunched over tech books, determining how to break into an industry I love. Well...here I am.
Greetings, I former student at Fayetteville Tech in NC. Major in IT/Systems Security and Analysis. Did my first Red Hat course (Linux/UNIX Single User), but my second course using Linux. I would like to develop my skills in Security and other IT related fields. And learn more about the different operating systems, especially Linux as it seems to be part of many IT infrastructure. I am a retired Marine infantryman, but have been wanting to become part of the IT community for many years. I am very pleased that Red Hat offers this area to continue to learn and grow. However, I have not been very active in the community.
Hello,
I'm a sales rep of 24 yrs. I have a BA in English. I have sold semiconductors, police and military shooter training systems, health and beauty aids and currently work for an office furniture company for last several years. I have built and manage my home network for 20+ connections cat-5e + wifi (CBPP/Debian based) for my family of 6 + Proxmox virtualized media & file server + separate vm for distro testing. I have multiple windows and mac connections at any given time and have learned to putty to the servers prior to running them virtualized. I guess I'm kind of a techno Dad and figure it's about time I make my hobby/past-time my career. My main system is a frankenstein HP desktop and my laptop is a 2012 macbook pro running LXDE GUI on LinuxMint. I'm most comfortable in debian based systems but cut my teeth on RH before Fedora even existed and Mandrake Linux back in the day; prior to GUI everything. I currently have Rocky9 in virtualbox and hope to get some formal instruction and eventually get my RHCSA cert and find employment as a SysAdm. I also have GMRS license and working towards my HAM radio technicians license. I find that Linux greatly helps the HAM radio crowd and peaks my interest in Pentesting. I guess that's a natural progression. Anyone with like interest, please feel free to contact me.
