Hi All.
My name is Simon. I have had a meandering path through my career. My last role was as a technical build manager for an ISP here in the UK. This mostly entailed industrialising the configuration of network hardware (Switches, Routers).
My ambition is to attain RHCA.
Welcome, Simon! That sounds like a fascinating path and your experience with networks will be a great addition here.
Hello Everyone:
I've been in the IT Industry for over 40 years, I started with 80-column punch cards to load Cobol Programs to Mainframe servers.
My love is Unix, there hasn't been anything created that allows me to invent, over and over, how to use all the its services to make solid solutions for people and businesses.
I've worked as Unix Admin and Developer using Agile and/or SDLC. I have understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP, Networks, Security and CVE resolutions. Now I'm moving to Infrastructure Automation. I'm Hopefully Satellite, Ansible, OpenShift, CloudPak learning will happen with this group.
Welcome! That’s an incredible journey. Excited to have your experience and passion for Unix in the mix here!
Hello everyone, I’m Rony. I come from a non-IT background with zero technical roots, but I’ve stepped into the Red Hat universe with full commitment to learn, grow, and contribute. Excited to start this journey with all of you.
Welcome, Rony! Great to have you here! Your commitment and fresh perspective will be a real strength on this journey.
Hi Redhat Learning Community, my name is Loan Thai. I am a sys admin, working with both Windows and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian). Redhat OpenShift and Kubernetes are new to me. I would like to learn about them for self-improvement and not falling behind. Thank you.
Welcome, Loan! Glad to have you with us. OpenShift and Kubernetes can feel like a big step at first, but you’ll find plenty of folks here learning and sharing their experiences too.
