Tried it a couple of months back with my M1 but it did not worked. The ISO is not campatible I think !
ya, sad, need to prepare another PC only for RH certification test..
If you read the pdf manual, page 3, the first system requirement:
"Computer: You will need a computer with a single active monitor. Red Hat supports many Intel-compatible X86_64-bit architecture computers"
Apple M1 CPU has ARM architecture, not x86 as required. So it is obvious it not matching the requirements so it cannot work.
Macbooks even with Intel seems not supported. I was able to boot up a ubuntu from an external key but not the rhexboot iso
Hi All,
For the RHCSA exam, can I use a laptop with an additional monitor?
Hello,
Any one gave Redhat exam with Macbook Pro M1 laptop ? I have difficulties booting up from rhexboot.iso image from usb key.
Thanks for answer
Hey Team
Just wanted to understand if Macbook M1 editions are compatible with the test as they are Similar to ARM64 architecture instead of intel-compatible X86_64-bit architecture computers.
I have tried on Apple MacBook Pro M1 & its not working.
Hey Sujeeth
