@rhdebater Wow, almost 40 years in educational institutions and IT development -that’s impressive! With all that experience, you’ve got so much to offer. We’d love for you to share your knowledge with the community. Our platform thrives on open, peer-to-peer learning, and your insights could really help others in their learning journeys.

I recommend checking out the Red Hat Academy group to join conversations with fellow Academy admins, instructors and students. Also, make sure to join the Red Hat Academy Educators group to stay updated on announcements, instructor discussions, and more. I’ll send you invitations to both groups, and feel free to explore the other discussion boards and groups as well!

Hello everyone,

My name is Sergio Silva, and I’m excited to join this Red Hat community from Vancouver, Canada! Today, I decided to take a leap forward in my certification journey by setting up a Red Hat development environment in my lab—and connecting with all of you felt like the perfect next step.

Professionally, I’ve spent several years as a Network Support Engineer, specializing in Cisco technologies, Fortinet, and Sophos firewalls. Recently, I’ve been diving into Palo Alto firewalls and am eager to expand my expertise in Ansible to streamline automation workflows.

I’m thrilled to collaborate, learn from this community, and share insights as I prepare for my Red Hat certifications. Let’s grow together—see you online!

Regards,

@sbzsilva
